Calendar Sync Issues - DreamFlow Help

If your Google Calendar is not syncing properly with DreamFlow -- events missing, duplicated, or out of date -- follow these steps to fix it.

Common Causes

OAuth token expired -- Your Google authorization has expired and needs to be refreshed.
Insufficient permission scopes -- DreamFlow may not have full calendar access.
Duplicate events appearing -- Sync conflicts can create duplicate entries.
Wrong calendar selected -- DreamFlow may be syncing with the wrong Google Calendar.
Sync delay -- Changes may take a few minutes to appear on both sides.

How to Fix

1. Reconnect Google Calendar

Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar.
Click Disconnect, then click Connect again.
Sign in with your Google account and grant all requested permissions.
This refreshes the OAuth token and restores full sync.

2. Check permission scopes

Go to Google Account > Third-party apps.
Find DreamFlow and check that "Google Calendar" is listed under permissions.
If calendar permission is missing, disconnect and reconnect from DreamFlow (this re-requests all scopes).

3. Fix duplicate events

Duplicate events usually occur when the same appointment is created in both DreamFlow and Google Calendar simultaneously.
Delete the duplicate from either side -- the sync will not re-create it.
Going forward, create events in one place (DreamFlow) and let sync handle the rest.

Create all client-facing appointments in DreamFlow and let the two-way sync push them to Google Calendar. This prevents duplicates and keeps DreamFlow as your single source of truth.

4. Select the correct calendar

Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Calendar > Calendars.
Toggle on the calendar(s) you want DreamFlow to sync with.
Toggle off personal or shared calendars you do not want to mix with business appointments.
